Hey Witchfinder, just brought one this evening after being addicted to them at RCM open day in May & Retro Reunited a few weeks back. Looking forward to picking it up tomorrow morning and of course browsing the net for multicarts!

Nice Vectrex overview! I've only had a couple of opportunities to play a real live Vectrex, and really enjoyed the experience (except for the 3D goggles - made me feel sick and left a nice black smudge on my head!) I would really love to own one of these machines, as you said: completely unique.

Thanks for sharing Witchfinder, I really enjoyed reading this piece. Funnily enough, I had nearly all of these games back in the day, though I was the owner of a lowly Electron rather than a Beeb.
The games all look pretty much identicle with the exception of Boffin (I don't think the Elk had this gfx mode, so we got a different versio more…
